It's not enough to be a technology or soft-skill expert - you have to know how to facilitate adult learning.
The competition thinks that a train-the-trainer by Microsoft, Novell, or Langevin
is sufficient to turn their technicians into educators. We disagree.
To be an effective Adult Educator, our instructors are trained in Adult Education Metrics and Methodologies. Adult education, as a field of study, focuses on ways
in which adults learn and the best approaches to
facilitate that learning.
In an effort to keep our adult education approach fresh and innovative, Binary
Training requires that all instructors complete a Bachelor's level or higher adult
education course on an annual basis. In fact, two of our instructors are completing a Master's level program in
Adult Education through the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
Here's a sampling of the courses offered by local Colleges and Universities that are approved curriculum
for Binary Training's ongoing adult education initiative.
